Slipform Concrete

Slipform concrete is the construction of concrete elements using a continuous slipform technique. Typical elements are kerbs, drainage channels, safety central barriers and continuously reinforced concrete pavement (CRCP).

A specialist vertical slipform method is also available, a formwork is continuously raised at applied rate which allows the concrete to harden before been exposed to the environment. As the slipform is raised the wind speed and temperature should be monitored as this will affect the formwork rate.

Product Application:

  • Kerbs
  • Drainage Channels
  • Safety central Barriers
  • CRCP
  • Lift Shafts
  • Towers
  • Silos

Product Features:

  • Increases Speed of Construction
  • Slipform requires a small but highly skilled workforce
  • Freeze thaw resistant
  • Highly durable concrete design
