Quarry Safety

Kilsaran and all contract companies and personnel who work for us in Quarrying Operations must comply with Quarry Safety procedures, and requirements as laid out in the following

• Safety Health & Welfare at Work Act 2005
• Safety Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, 2016 and associated amendments
• Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Quarries) Regulations 2008
• Kilsaran Health & Safety Policies, Procedures and Site Rules

Quarry operations can be a dangerous and high-risk environment and Kilsaran strive to ensure that we design, implement and work to Best-In-Class Safety Standards at all of our quarry facilities around Ireland. We work extremely closely with: the Irish Concrete Federation, Health and Safety Authority, SOLAS, Irish Industrial Explosives and all of our stakeholders to ensure that our systems and procedures are robust and that we protect our personnel and equipment from harm.
