Sales Development Representative-Dunboyne, Co.Meath

An exciting opportunity to join Ireland’s leading independent manufacturer of concrete construction materials. We are currently looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative . This role will be based at our Head Office in Piercetown, Dunboyne, Co. Meath.

The successful candidate will work closely with our sales team, to learn our product range and to identify new markets, expand our reach and grow our clientele base. They will be given time to learn the business alongside our sales team before taking over full responsibility for the Sales Development Representative role.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Build and administer project and quote development within SIMMA, including product/service pricing information provided by Sales & Account Manager.
  • Establish the correct information in regard to every aspect of project such as ordering client information, bill to information, site information, and assign appropriate order date.
  • Responsible for daily end-to-end order management of projects, from the Order Generation, Order Management, Order Acknowledgement stages through to invoicing.
  • Identify potential orders that cannot be processed without additional information, documentation, or clarification, and flag accordingly.
  • Monitor and communicate any changes in project requirements.
  • Coordinate the completion and submission of pre-qualification questionnaires and tenders.
  • Coordinate and communicate proposal document delivery and costing requirements to the key support functions to meet proposal due dates while raising, tracking and documenting issues.
  • Co-ordinate and create tender packages (public & private), large product lists and multi-product quotations.
  • Monitor the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency and compliance.
  • Prepare and issue accurate and clear quotes based on requirements. Review and pro-actively follow up on quotes that may lead to additional sales.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales & Account Manager for further development and closure.
  • Assist with territory planning, identifying key target accounts, secondary accounts and improving sales strategy.
  • Prepare reports for management such as progress of sales efforts, summary schedules, cost/price summaries, win/loss ratios, volumes per plant and price monitoring.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound calls for any services/products the customer does not currently have with Kilsaran and acting on these accordingly.
  • Manage and maintain customer relationship through proactive communication i.e. telephone, e-mail, and social networks.
  • Manage all incoming telephone calls for selling opportunities.
  • Manage sales related billing/back charge administration issues.
  • Ensure the Sales & Account Managers are on track with sales goals.
  • Deal with any customer complaints and resolve the issue as necessary.
  • Manage portfolio of clients and grow sales revenue through existing and new products.
  • Track and analyse new needs or trends which represent business opportunities for Kilsaran and its clients.
  • Research existing & new sectors to identify full sales potential or new opportunities for business.
  • Use ‘CRM’ Management system to maximise revenue sales and retain clients.
  • Be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times.
  • Other administration duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 6+ qualification, preferably in a Business, Marketing or Finance related fields/industries, is desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 Years of sales experience in working with clients in a product-focused, business to business and/or commercial environment.
  • Experience of dealing selling directly with clients and providing high levels of customer service.
  • Knowledge or experience of Sales administration or business development systems or procedures.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and administration skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and other commercial applications.
  • Confidence and ability to work as part of a team to drive business success to increase sales and margins
